Globe (Bark)
Whaling vessel, out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Alexander A. Tripp, on voyage 6 Mar. 1869-20 May 1872 to Western, Jake Howland, William Allen, Steen, Cornell, Carroll, Cape Horn Pigeon, Coast of Africa, Pigeon, and other whaling grounds; owner-agent: Charles Tucker; built at Duxbury, Mass., 1822.

The Globe, a 215 ton ship, hailed from New Bedford, Mass. Alexander Augustus Tripp was the master and Charles Tucker was the managing owner or agent. In 1865 it embarked on its fifth recorded whaling voyage and returned to port in 1868.
